I had a brilliant stay. It had everything I wanted and was clean. The wifi connection was excellent. Fantastic overall.

Lovely little spot. Nicely separated from the main house so felt very private and we didn't have to worry about our two dogs disturbing anyone. It's very close to a road, but the noise didn't disturb us at all. The cottage is very cosy with everything we needed - well-equipped kitchen with a big fridge/freezer, nice comfy big bed, good shower and a nice-sized living and dining area. Very nice pub walking distance from the cottage along a beautiful lakeside path. Plenty to do in the area. And the pool is a fabulous bonus - was able to burn off the pub meals with a morning dip each day! We didn't meet Sophie but her partner was very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be back at some point I'm sure.

Lovely location, with a lake walk just 5 minutes away. They have a large swimming pool which you can arrange access. Ample parking on the main drive of the house just a 100m walk. The lodge was comfortable and had everything we needed. Some parts of it need a bit of TLC/deep clean/updating. We weren't able to connect to the WiFi whilst we were staying for the 2 nights which was tricky. Sophie tried to reset the house WiFi but the password or something just wasn't working. The bedroom on the last day did fuse we tried to get the trip switch to go back on so no joy, so we had no electricity in the bedroom.
