Mark is a great host: he communicated well before arrival and then showed us around when we got there. The annex is lovely with all mod cons, and the welcome pack was a bonus.

A super annex which was just perfect in every way. Beautifully decorated and lovely and warm and every detail had been thought of. The place is spotlessly clean and the Christmas decorations made it feel very homely. The milk and extra provisions that had been left was an added surprise and very helpful and was very much appreciated. We will definitely recommend this place. Nicky and Mark were great hosts, very welcoming and helpful with great communication. We hope to return again sometime.

We traveled from USA to celebrate holiday & vacation days with new family. My daughter and son-in-law were located very close to our location. Along with my son-in-law’s family. The location was very helpful bc driving would have been a challenge and Mark helped us with these specific details before we booked his Air BnB. In the USA we drive on the other side of the road and the steering wheel is on the other side in the USA. So knowing how close we were to family was very important. Mark was a marvelous host. Simply the best from the first email to the last email & all personal one on one communications at his Air BnB. His Air BnB is more than equal to any 5 star hotel. The unit was of new construction and done to perfection. My adult son also stayed with us and he was also very pleased. Everything was marvelous about our stay. Mark would be my very first contact when we make a return visit sometime in the future. Some basic stores were also a close walking distance.

We stayed at Mark and Nicky's Annex for three weeks while our house was renovated. We're fairly local and the location was extremely convenient with good links to Reading by bus, and a short drive to Mortimer train station. We loved the Annex and the kids especially loved the facilities and modern twists to the building to the point they didn't actually want to come home. The Annex is extremely comfy, cosy, quiet and our hosts were welcoming, responsive and kind - they even put up a lovely Christmas tree for us - again a real winner with our boys. The Annex is a fabulous location and all-round perfect place to spend some time for work or play. Highly recommended!
