It was such a treat to stay at John's place. Coming from a more urban environment, it was so nice to be out in the woods, especially in the springtime. It was great to come back from work and be able to go run on largely empty roads and enjoy the fresh air. While I didn't go down to the lake, it's quite close, and the boat landing is just a few minutes away. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. John is very friendly and easy going. His dog Maggie, is friendly but respectful and doesn't invade your space. Overall, it was a nice experience.

we greatly enjoyed our stay. john's place is cozy and a convenient distance from most places. he was helpful and accommodating. we would love to stay again!

Johns place was nice over our two week stay. Although there is room for improvement, I would say that I was very comfortable here. His dog Maggie was very friendly and we even met some of the neighborhood dogs that were also friendly. The amenities were great and we made good use of all the streaming services John had available. It was not the cleanest place I have every stayed but it was far from the worst. Me and my partner had a wonderful stay overall.

Good price for being not too far of a drive to Charlotte. We basically just came back at night to sleep and explored all day so we didn’t need anything special. It was out in the country and at the end of the road so it was quiet and peaceful. Host is very friendly and likes to meet you at check-in. Maggie is so sweet and we enjoyed being welcomed by her too. Overall pleasant experience!

JT was super kind and responsive, along with his dad Maggie! Great location, quiet and pretty, with easy access to the lake. He let us use his kayaks which was great!
