Wonderful place for multi generational families. Everything families could want or need - household supplies, beach blankets and toys, children’s games and books, books including Hawaii topics for grownups. Non-tourist location. Watched sunsets and whales from deck.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this house. Great for multiple families and kids. Loved whale watching on the lanai every morning and the house was a perfect location for exploring. We would all stay here again in a heartbeat. Don and Kerrill were so lovely.

Our stay at Don and Kerrill’s place is mixed. Kerrill was a wonderful host and was pleasant to communicate with. We had a large group of 13 and were pleased with the open floor plan and large lanai. There was ample room for our kids to run around freely. We had a wonderful time on the lanai whale watching (we saw at least twenty whales during our stay!) We were also able to bbq and all eat on the lanai with the many tables and chairs provided. There were lots of chairs and umbrellas available for the beach. The negative is this home is extremely out dated. EVERYTHING was old and in need of replacement. It’s a shame because this home was perfect for our group, but just didn’t have the comfortable vacation feel.

My family loved this place. it is peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of space. If I'm ever back on the big island, I would definitely stay here again!
