We stayed at Rainbow Cottage for 3 nights and wished it was for longer as the place is idyllic. It's not far outside Louisburgh but feels very remote and private. There are good walks in the local area and easy access to beaches nearby plus it's not far from Westport and Roonagh Pier for the ferry to Clare Island. The scenery is stunning. The house itself is very well equipped, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Mark provided useful information on the house and things to do in the local area and was a good host. I'd highly recommend this cottage and hope to stay there again.

We had a great time at the Rainbow Cottage. The house was very comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for for a family holiday.

This spot is exactly what I dreamed of: quiet, remote countryside, a cozy house with beautiful views and comfy beds, and a host accepting dogs. We didn't meet Mark in person, but he watched over us all the time. What I particularly appreciated in our experience was the understanding way in which Mark treated the report of a temporary inconvenience at home. He was very active and helpful and approached the matter responsibly. As a guest, I feel very well taken care of, and I will certainly be happy to recommend this fantastic place to others.

Lovely cottage and perfect location for walking and beaches. Cottage had everything needed for your stay. Does not have Wi-Fi and phone reception can be poor but local bookstore in Louisburgh offers Wi-Fi and Co working spaces. Perfect for dog owners as garden is fenced in. We’ll definitely visit again.
