Our stay at Lorraine’s Fisherman Cottage was fabulous. The Cottage was spacious, well equipped, and the location was terrific. Out front was Croaghpatrick; out back was a beautiful view and a beautiful beach on Clew Bay, we walked most every day. Our neighbors in the back were three friendly donkeys we fed carrots every day. The location, in Mussick, was perfect; close to Westport, and to the west, Louisburg with more exceptional beaches. Meeting our host Lorraine, and her family, was special; so welcoming, and helpful. Thank you Lorraine, Michael, Florence, Luna, John, Emmy, Julia and Jack. Barb and I enjoyed meeting you all. Thank you Michael, we will miss our daily chats on the way out in the morning. Barb and I look forward to a return visit. Our kindest regards.

We had an amazing stay here. Lorraine was super friendly, welcoming, helpful & responsive & was right on hand if we had an issue. Our kids had a blast in the neighborhood, the cottage was exactly perfect for us with iconic & awe inspiring views & amazing location. Only issue was you couldn’t drink the water, but that’s an issue that was out of her hands & Lorraine had plenty of gallons of bottled water stocked for us. We didn’t really notice it accordingly. We would love to stay again & highly recommend.

Fantastic location stones throw from the beach and at the foot of the reek. Private and safe for young kids to play and explore and feed the donkeys

Our group of 5 had a lovely stay at the cottage. Lorraine and Mick were fantastic and we had amazing fresh scones to welcome us. The location was super - so quiet with amazing views of Clew bay and Croagh Patrick. It was only a little skip down the field to the beach - lots of walk and cycle tracks all around the area and then a few minutes in the car to get to Westport. Would be happy to stay again and would highly recommend

Lorraine was a wonderful host. House was a lovely old cottage with beautiful views and donkeys.
