Our home is close to restaurants, shopping centers and family-friendly activities. You’ll love it because of the peace and tranquillity, the beautiful garden and the kitchen. Our home is good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and big groups. Our house is situated in the heart of the Northern Suburbs in a lush, beautiful garden, close to all amenities, shopping centres and restaurants, but you’ll feel a world away. It comprises of a main king size bedroom with a smart TV (full DSTV as well as Netflix and Prime subscriptions) ample cupboard space opening up through double French doors in to its own private courtyard on one side, and the veranda and garden on the other side. Complete with its own private outdoor shower and bath, a huge ensuite bathroom with a large bath and shower and double basin too. All our rooms have ceiling fans for those summer nights, and are very effective at keeping mosquitos away. There are extra blankets for winter or if you’re a cold sleeper. The second and third bedroom both have queen beds and double French doors which open on to the garden. They share a bathroom with a basin, toilet, large shower and Victorian standing bath with an outlook on to a private courtyard. The fourth room comes with a queen bed, and ensuite with a shower, both looking out to a private courtyard. Walking through the front door you enter in to a large entrance hall, leading to the dining room, with a table that comfortably seats twelve. This room is glorious and warm with the fireplace during the winter. There is a starter pack of wood, but you’ll have to provide it thereafter. It’s available at all garages and the roadside. Just ask the staff to make it up for you during the day. Off the dining room is a guest toilet for the visitors during your stay and the staircase upstairs to the office and entertainment room, complete with a pool table, lounge with smart television, dart board, bookshelf with books for you to read during your stay and board games. It also has a fireplace and bar fridge. Back downstairs is the family lounge. It’s wonderfully comfortable with a large family size L-Shaped couch, blankets for those winter evenings and a smart TV with Netflix, DSTV and Prime. There is a large country home inspired kitchen with everything you could need, complete with a large gas oven and stove, two double door fridges with freezers, a dishwasher, prep sink and large central table and walk in pantry. It has a TV for those who like to listen to music or watch sport while they cook. We provide a starter of bread, milk, teas, coffee, condiments, sauces, and butter as well as some cleaning products for your use. These along with some basics to start you off on the right track on your holiday should make you feel right at home. Off the kitchen is the veranda complete with BBQ, a twelve seater dining table and chairs, external lounge area and lush garden and pool. There is a trampoline with side nets for the children as well as an assortment of balls and bats for use during the stay. There is a separate scullery and laundry where the staff will do the dishes, pots and pans in the morning if you have not chosen to use the dishwasher. They clean the rooms daily and do the washing and ironing should you wish. Please approach them with any garment specific washing instructions. Please let them know if you would prefer them to not make up your room during your stay, or any specific times you would prefer no-one in the house. Their hours are usually 7am - 10am, 10.30am - 12.30pm, and 2pm to 5pm. If you would like to adapt this, please be in touch prior to your stay and we will see how we can accomodate you. There is a triple automated garage for your convenience that leads directly in to the scullery. An external alarm, which can be set by your remote, covers the whole property for your safety. That combined with an external video alarm with scheduled times of operation covering key points with motion detection will be certain to keep you safe during the stay. The road had its own security group with five security guards and a roaming vehicle that patrols from 6pm to 6am daily. This will require guests to sign in and out at the booms on the road entrances during those hours. The house also comes with its own panic button for any fire, ambulance or security emergency response needs during your stay. The house has unlimited, reliable WIFI. There is a comprehensive solar inverter system with standby 20 kVA generator to ensure uninterrupted power supply and hot water during your stay, as well as a borehole and an abundance of water.
