We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Old Lock Cottage. We found the house very comfortable, clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped without being cluttered, and lots of little details around the house had been thought of to make our stay comfortable. It was a quiet location with a very short walk to the marina, dinner at the Boat house was fabulous. We also walked along the path to the Crown & Anchor where we had a super Sunday lunch. So much to see and do in the area we will hopefully be returning.

It was pretty much perfect and the things that weren’t could be easily fixed. Lounge was beautiful layout but tv was a bit of an awkward position. The sofas were very low so might be a bit difficult for those with ability issues. But sofas were very comfortable and the fireplace made it very magical. The kitchen was lovely with lots of appliances (coffee machine and soda stream). Bedrooms were great sizes and very comfortable. . I would 100% stay here again as the location and house were near perfect.

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend with family at the cottage. Very well equipped and cosy, and in the perfect location for walking around the marina and to the local restaurant. Great to have lots of living space to spread out, play games, watch TV and relax in front of the log burner. We especially liked the Narnia-style bathrooms upstairs which made our daughter very amused! Very comfortable and nice stay, home from home.
