A beautiful rustic gem and Jim, the host, was helpful from the beginning to the end of our stay. We were welcomed with a bottle of red wine that went perfectly with the steak we bought from the local butcher that we found through a refrigerator magnet in the cabin. The view from the cabin was breathtaking and unforgettable. The living room, kitchen, and dining area were all connected and extremely lovely, so no matter what we were doing, we still felt like we were together. The hot tub was a hit, even on a chilly day/night. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The locals were all so nice and we had such a good time. FYI…The closest stores are at least 20 minutes away. Here's a list of the things we did and the places we visited: - Food lion - Paps Diary Dreams - The naked Olive - Angus and Ale - Antique Mall - Berkeley Springs Park(the kids love to splash in the warm springs) I hope this helps you plan your next trip and that you enjoy it as much as we did!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The rooms worked out perfectly to have my two teens on their own rooms downstairs, and my husband and I upstairs. Just know that you can hear each other pretty well. It didn’t bother us. Our dog loved exploiting outside and the view from the hot tub at night can’t be beat. We enjoyed some locate restaurants during our stay: Mythical Pizza, Charlotte’s Cafe, and the Canary Grill. These all offered gf options for my daughter which was a huge hit. We also enjoyed the Atasia Spa. Definitely will return when it’s a little warmer. We also vistes Lazy Sundae. It was super cute but limited options during the off season. All the servers/employees were exceptional at all establishments! Berkeley Springs is a must visit.

Jim’s place is perfect. We had a great time with our kids and dog fishing in the lake and walking the property. Although we didn’t need the fire place, we enjoyed the hot tub, windows, porch, fire pit and chase lounges! Everything was easy to access including Cacapon State Park where we hiked with the dog and kids, Berkeley Springs and even a trip to Luray Caverns. We are from MD and love to kayak and paddle board so we hope to return in the summer!

Nice, cozy place. We had an amazing time. For sure we will be coming back to Jim’s cabin again.
