A delightful and spacious place in the middle of a lovely little town. Heated floors, cozy furniture, and lots of room. Pam is very responsive and helpful, and even checked in on our dog for us while we were out. Would definitely come again!

We had a wonderful stay at Pam’s for our family reunion. We are repeat guests and each stay provides an oasis of rest and relaxation! Pam is a wonderful host- she has become a family friend!

Pam’s place is amazing as is Pam herself! There is so much room for a family to stretch out, huge claw foot tub, a wood stove, and underfloor heating which was such a treat! Cherry Valley is such a sweet little town with yoga, a gourmet food shop, and some great restaurants and Pam’s place is in walking distance of all of it. We had a wonderful break enjoying the foliage and our pup loved running around the yard. Pam is so friendly and helpful - she loaned me a yoga mat when I had forgotten mine and had lots of tips of things to do! We look forward to coming back!

My family and I wanted to have a reunion weekend near Cooperstown, and booked The Carriage House. We were absolutely thrilled when we arrived. It was even better than we expected. From the gorgeous gardens to the original artwork throughout the house, it was perfect. Pam is a great host, greeting us at the door, with a warm crackling fire already under way in the wood stove. She was as enthusiastic about showing us the house and all its special features, as we were in discovering them and learning about the work she has invested into the house over the years. Her care and creative touches are everywhere. Within minutes, we felt like family. Pam has been a resident of the area for many years, and is very knowledgeable about its culture, shops, galleries and destinations. She took time to ask us what our interests were, and then provided a ton of great information for us, especially directing us to the local farms and orchards to visit and which specialties each one was known for - advice we very much enjoyed taking advantage of. We were able to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame and Cooperstown, just a short and picturesque drive away. What a lovely town and what beautiful country. My family and I are very devout “foodies”, and had plans and reservations to visit some of the best restaurants in the area. However, we loved our time together in this warm, comfortable and beautiful house so much so, that we ended up cancelling our reservations in favor of staying home, making our own meals using some of our local “finds”, in the beautifully appointed kitchen, playing games by the fire, and loving every minute we spent together in this wonderful place. Our only complaint is that our long weekend ended too soon, and so, are hoping to making a return visit to The Carriage House again next year. Pam has created the kind of place that you, too will want to make into a yearly destination.
