We had a wonderful weekend away with our family. The house was great for our two girls (ages 3 and 18 months). You are a 12 minute drive to main street in Cooperstown. You have a beautiful view of the lake right from your bedroom.
Nancy and Armin are exceptional hosts. They texted prior to check-in, met us with keys upon arrival, and, since they live just across the road, were immediately responsive to any needs that arose. The cabin has a lovely view of the lake, and we enjoyed using the kayak and canoe out on the water. One item of note - drinking water in the Cooperstown area has a bit of a sulfur taste. Nancy and Armin provide a large jug of spring water for their guests, but if you have any baseball players in the family, be sure to buy or bring enough water for both players and spectators. Cooperstown Dreams Park is about a 23 minute drive South of Camp Champion, and it is a lovely route along the lake and through the village of Cooperstown.
it was everything we hoped for an more. Very quaint, sweet neighborhood, and everyone respectful of each others space. Great to have access to the water with the Old Town Canoe and Kayak. Great for families, and a the perfect distance from Copperstown. Thanks for a great stay!
