The good: - Ernest is the friendliest, most helpful host you could ask for. He jumped to help us whenever we needed him. He even brought us potted flowers and fresh eggs and garden tomatoes! - The pool area, hot tub, and exercise room were clean and inviting. - There are lots of restaurants, shopping, golfing, and hiking trails close by. - The parking space is directly in front of the unit. - The unit was very clean -- carpets, bathrooms, kitchen, linens, everything. - AC and heat both worked well. The not-so-good: - The unit was quite run down. The furnishings were Goodwill quality. - The unit shares walls with three other units, one of which is a family with small kids (as of March 2024). Both noise and occasional cigarette smoke were a problem, although it was always quiet at night, and never loud music.

Baseline is a main drag, but unit is tucked back, so no road noise whatsoever. Very short walk to pool and hot tub! Parking shelter( maybe another name for it, northern here) was well lit and just a few steps away from unit so easy unload. Plenty of hot water for two showers back to back. Blame older people and tech, but they responded fast to resolve tv addict husbands issues. Desk in second bedroom was used frequently. Dumpsters were emptied in timely manner, wish the complex had recycle. Grounds were well maintained, as were building exterior. Ernest communicated, checked in to see how we were doing , but not smothering . He was very generous, and always responded immediately when we had a question. Unit was well stocked. Lots of closet space, would love the master walk in at my house! Could use paint refinish, but doesn’t affect cleaning that one can tell was invested. Very happy with our stay, wishing it was longer.

This Airbnb with Ernest was fantastic! Ernest is a super responsive host and ensures that you have everything you need from the beginning of your stay. He goes above and beyond to offer you and kindness that he can. I’m so glad that I decided to stay at this Airbnb for the summer.

Ernest was VERY prompt with all inquiries and requests making sure everything is as it should be. GREAT location if you like to hike being right at the base of South Mountain (trails accessible without vehicle or some a short drive). 12 minutes to the airport and centrally located to whatever you want to do. Pool area and hot tub are well maintained and not crowded.

I lived at Ernest’s condo for a month with my parents. It’s a beautiful location and community. The house is wonderful, well equipped and clean. Ernest is an amazing host, he was always available to help, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Cannot wait to be back again!
