Had a great stay in Black Mountain! Great location, great view, great house. Kids loved the game room, creek, and hot tub. Close enough to Asheville, Black Mountain, and Old Fort. Great spring break trip, looking forward to coming back!

The cabin was incredible! Looked exactly like the pictures and the scenery was breathtaking. We enjoyed hiking on Sherri’s land, listening to the river, and playing games at night. We highly recommend Louise’s Kitchen for breakfast and lunch which was only a short 15 minute drive down the mountain. If you’re looking for more of an upscale dinner Que Sera was some of the best meals our group has had. Sherri and Michelle were incredibly quick to respond should an issue arise and provide great guidance! My only recommendation as many have said is to ensure you have an SUV for the drive up as the last 10 minutes to the cabin is gravel backroads which just added to the incredible adventure for us. When we come back to Asheville we can’t wait to stay at the cabin again! Thank you Sherri and Michelle for a great stay!

The location and type of home was exactly what my friends and I were looking for. It was very clean, spacious and overall a lovely place to stay. Everything was as exactly described on the listing. Thank you for being fantastic hosts and we would certainly recommend this place to anyone. I also drove my RWD Miata with no problem up the paths to the property for anyone that is worried about that.
