Overall you get what you pay for. It definitely does not have privacy, especially if more than 2 people. The shower, although beautiful with mosaic and all, opens up to the living room with no door, and half it is all window, albeit with pull down blinds. Window directly in front of shower head, no blind, exposes top half of body and it’s facing another bldg on the property and fence inbetween does not help much. No proper door for the toilet either, just a wooden screen door of sort that does not close properly. We tried to check in early, by 1 hr, and owner calls to tell me he’s doing work on the roof due to either a squirrel or raccoon in the ceiling/attic space. We decide to go hike and got back by 7, we heard the animal/s both nights there and had gnawings of wood over the toilet each morning as of this thing is trying to break into the living space. Aside from that, there were mouse droppings here and there and the casita is haphazardly put together, unfortunate to say

We had a stormy, chaotic night of camping the night before, and booked this place last-minute to save us from a second night of - it was perfect! Gorgeous inside, cozy from the the wood burning stove and the heater, and the owner of the main house was happy to help with anything we needed.

Loved staying at the casita! It was very comfortable and eclectic. We loved the mosaic shower!
