Luzie was such a warm and welcoming host, and I had a great time staying at her place! Location couldn't be more convenient in Auckland, and the flat itself is spacious and a nice environment to relax in. Would recommend to anyone, great all round experience.

Good location - very convenient to the bus stop, supermarket and a 10 minute walk to Queen Street. Luzie was super friendly and very responsive.

Luzie was very welcoming and accommodating in terms of changing the date. However the room itself and accommodation was not as described. The swimming pool was out of order and had been for a number of months, (which was not made clear on the airbnb page and was one of the main reasons for making the booking), the room was very small with no lockable door and no windows to outside, and there was another person living in the flat that was not detailed on the airbnb description. As a woman traveling alone, I had chosen this space as it seemed I was sharing a 2 bedroom flat with one other woman. Had I have known there was someone else sharing the apartment as well, I would have chosen a different place. As it turned out her flatmate was fine, but I did feel uncomfortable that this was never mentioned and considered going home. After looking for reviews again, while i was out at dinner that evening, I realised that other people had the same problem, but nothing had been done about it. Reasons to scroll through the reviews a little longer, rather than seeing the top couple of comments and going off a high star rating 😅 I'd recommend making this clearer on the description so that others don't experience the same problem. Like I said, Luzie was lovely and her communication before and during the stay were good, but the place was not as described and was overpriced for what it was.
