4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, sleeps 8, non motorized lake. Our 4 season, 4 bedroom 2800 sq ft house is on a double lot, on a quiet non-motorized lake. It has all the charm you would want in a cottage with all the comforts of home. Hogg Lake is located approx. 2 and a half hours north of Toronto, close to the famous resort town of Huntsville, as well as Arrowhead and Algonquin Parks. The 2 storey cottage has been completely and lovingly renovated in 2012 with 4 full bedrooms (Sleeps 8), large kitchen, living and dining room and recreation room with a floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace in the living room and a wood stove in the lower level rec room. The living room features huge picture windows overlooking the lake with soaring cedar ceilings. There is a special seating nook beside the kitchen. The house includes a gourmet kitchen and everything you could want for a wonderful cottage vacation! Children Welcome Master bedroom is very large with a queen size bed, patio-door walk out to large deck and rock garden, view of the lake and a 32' Smart tv. Second bedroom, good size, king size bed and view of the lake. Third bedroom double bed and view of the lake. Fourth bedroom, queen size bed and large closet. PLEASE NOTICE; ==Sometimes we accept a small dog, but you must consult. ==A simple Cottage Rental agreement must be signed.

We had a wonderful weekend here. Luis and Laura were always responsive and gave us lots of helpful tips. The cottage is by a lake and steps away from a snowmobile trail. The view is magnificent. It’s also a short drive to national parks and downtown.
This cottage was absolutely amazing. Looking for a cottage to go to, this was at the top of our list as we have already been here. The kitchen was very well equipped, having a copious amount of spices, utensils, and other knickknacks. The cottage was spacious, even huge, and easily swallowed up our numbers with its many bedrooms and large couches turning into comfy beds. The view was great. The yard is spaced in such a way that you can see the entire lake. As for things to do, there were plenty. Whether it be kayaking, canoeing, board games, swimming, or the occasional bit of TV, our short stay felt like an entire lifetime. Overall, this place is a must have for any cottage enthusiast, with an entire complement of activities and materials to keep visitors of all ages content.
We enjoyed our stay at Luis’s place. The house is spacious and clean, located right on the lake, very quiet and peaceful. Kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped. The hosts were very quick to respond our texts when we had questions and offered us a flexible check-out time. All in all, it was a great experience and I’d recommend staying at Luis’s place!
We had a great time at the cottage! Its huge & can accommodate big groups of 8. Its right next to the lake and comes with canoes & a paddle boat. The cottage is clean & fully equipped with everything you need! Would definitely consider going back.

Luis and Laura are long-time cottagers in the area. We live in Toronto during the week where Laura is a librarian and Luis a film-maker. On weekends we head north to our cottage whenever possible and love the life style that it offers. Our cottage is large with amazing light and living space, while being homey and comfortable. Laura loves to cook and was able to design her dream kitchen here. During cold weather, we have two fire options, one on each floor (wood stove and fireplace). In summer, we love the lake water, which is spring fed and so very clean for swimming; the quiet and privacy of only having 10 other residences on the lake; and the proximity to Huntsville for shopping, services, and entertainment, whenever we can pull ourselves away from the cottage.
