Stella was a great host for a long weekend. The cabin was a perfect getaway, beautifully located by the lake side and was kept nice and tidy. All amenities and furniture was as listed and described. She was always quick to respond to all our questions. I just wish we knew about the tap water situation earlier so we would have come prepared with drinkable water as the heavy snowfall did not allow for the car to go out.
Our stay was very relaxing. We went in the winter so the outdoor activities were limited but we were able to do the firepit and roast marshallows. It would be a great place for the summer being so close to the lake with the paddle boat and kayaks. That being said, the post said there were chopsticks so we didnt bring...but when we got there, there werent any. Also, wish we knew the water situation...we brought enough water to drink but next time I would bring water to cook with also. Wish we also knew the pots and pans situation. What was available wasnt enough for a family of 8 so cooking took double the time. I would bring extra pots and pans if youre going with 8 people which is the max for this place. Overall, was a fun and relaxing time. I would go back.
Stella's place is in a great location for access to provincial parks. The kitchen was very basic with minimal supplies but was clean and looked like the pictures. I would stay again.
Great cottage, perfect for a fall getaway. Stella was very responsive as well. Would recommend!
Stella’s cottage was great, quiet, peaceful, nicely designed and lots to do. Starlink worked flawlessly for us as we had to work remotely at time! Would love to come back!!!! highly recommended!!!
