Thank you, Jim and Heather! The Lodge was perfect to celebrate Thanksgiving in New York. The property is gorgeous and the kitchen is fabulous for cooking, including top of the line appliances and a well stocked supply of everything you need to cook meals. We used every room in the house. We enjoyed family meals and crafting in the dining room and enjoyed football games in the den. The beds were comfortable and the property is gorgeous! So beautiful and Jim and Heather are thoughtful hosts! I highly recommend this property.

Lovely home and Jim and Heather were great hosts - very responsive and hospitable. The property is gorgeous and the kids loved the pool and hot tub. The outdoor cats that frequent the property are adorable too!

We usually vacation in VT but do to all the rain & flooding this summer we decided to try up state NY. Jim is an excellent host. He was in communication with us from the time we were interested in booking answering my questions promptly. Lodge was as described. The property is beautiful, views from the observation deck are spectacular! The pool is well maintained, grounds meticulous; so many herbs, butterfly bushes, flowers & a fresh vegetable garden to enjoy! As for kitchen items,( I enjoy cooking) it is FULLY equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The lodge was everything we were looking for; relaxing, reading( endless selection of books), hiking( back yard or across the street at Granite Mt Preserve), swimming in the pool, enjoying the hot tub. Highly recommend.

It was a great place to stay for our family. The kids loved the pool and hot tub! Its a beautiful home. We had some nice family meals in the dining room. It has beautiful views of the gardens. We used the kitchen every day. It’s a very quiet secluded location but has easy access to alot of stores. Putnam Valley is a unique spot. The host was very communicative. Highly recommend!
