Cynthia's cabin was adorable. The best way to describe it is rustic with no frills. It was cozy for my boyfriend and I. The location is great. We had a difficult time finding it, but Cynthia was great with directions. I will say it is just past mile mark 35 and turn onto the rustic looking bridge before (if your coming from Boulder) the brighter blue bridge. I didn't realize that each property has its own bridge to gain access to the properties. Overall great experience. Thank you Cynthia!
This cabin is the perfect homey getaway for a single person or couple. Every detail is thought out, firewood (for great fireplace in the room) and local treats provided, beautiful rustic Colorado decor, plenty of books to read and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Small kitchen has everything you need if you plan to cook. Cythnia was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. I ended up staying an extra night I enjoyed it so much. Nederland is about 15 mins through the canyon, and Boulder the other direction. There is only wifi and no service in the canyon so plan ahead with your navigation to arrive. It’s pretty easy to find in the daylight but challenging in the dark. Also, there is traffic noise from cars in the canyon but it didn’t bother me that much. Amazing stay. 10/10 recommend! Cynthia was one of the best host we’ve ever had! It’s a rarity to find a host so personable. She was genuinely a highlight to our trip. Her place was so lovely and accommodating. The cabin is a nice peaceful getaway, while still close enough to enjoy Boulder.
Cynthia’s cabin is the perfect place to stay! Everything is so well thought out, from the cool hanging wood table, very comfortable bed, cozy fireplace, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom, to the very nice and welcoming greeting. And of course the beautiful creek and mountain scenery. You can tell Cynthia really cares about her place and her guests. Definitely stay here if you are in the Boulder area, we can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I love nature and the outdoors. Jeff is a biologist, and I am a musician who has found a love for gardening and hosting. We are transplanted easterners, raised in Pennsylania, later living and learning in Ithaca, New York and Morris Plains, New Jersey. We landed in Colorado ten years ago and have been enjoying the adventure of living under the shadow of the great Rockies ever since. We are avid explorers of Colorado and would be delighted to suggest local and regional adventures to our guests.
