The Schoolhouse, with logs over 200 years old, is situated on 90 acres of stunning, natural beauty (flowers, shrubs, spring fed creek, abundant wildlife) +hiking trails for your enjoyment. It is a completely private cabin with its own entrance. Main floor (king bed, bath, TV, fireplace), and lower level offers kitchenette, Queen (luxury) sleeper sofa and additional full bath, TV and fireplace. Your stay will include a delicious breakfast served in the main inn's dining room. The Schoolhouse cabin/bedroom has a king size bed, a private bathroom, and a wood burning fireplace. There is a downstairs great room with a kitchenette, wood burning fireplace, full bath and Queen luxury sleeper sofa. There is a small, private patio on the lower level with access to the large terrace patio.

This was a great stay! Beautiful, nature-filled quiet scenery and easy to get to the city. The most impressive part was the genuine, warm hospitality we enjoyed throughout the stay. The breakfast was amazing! Great find.
Was just the space we needed and perfect for the dogs! Took a hike and had a great breakfast everyday!
Really enjoyed our stay! The upstairs bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom could use some up dating but we weren't there for the bathroom! The downstairs bed was comfortable too. The breakfast was amazing! Best rate in Nashville and only a 20-minute drive. The only issue we had was the downstairs was very cold. Upstairs lodging was comfortable but couldn't figure out how to control the lower-level temp.
The space was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the trails were so much fun to explore! Us and our two pups enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommend.
A very cute family owned inn. The surrounding grounds are so much fun with trails to hike, a creek and big green space to play in. Definitely drive down to the creek as the road is very steep. Breakfast is wonderful with a very personal touch. There is no fridge in the room so you may want your own cooler.

We offer up to 15 sleeping rooms in two separate inns. On 80 acres, our guests enjoy the best of nature and privacy. Plenty of hiking, outdoor seating and entertainment, like fire pits, corn hole, etc.. We're known for elevated Southern cuisine. Plan your group or private dining experience with us! Only 25 minutes from the excitement of downtown and from the airport, you'll find the best of worlds at Hachland Hill.
