Lovely host and hostess and a beautiful home. Very welcoming. I appreciate the price, their concern for reducing the environmental impact of the guests and their trust building approach to sharing their home. I will return when I need a dose of NYC!!

This is a great place to live for long term. I lived over a month and it felt like home here. Claudia is the best! She’ll make you feel at home. She even gave me ride for grocery trip, accommodated any help/things I needed. She treats me like just like a family member living in her home. It was nice to have a personal space with back porch area, personal kitchen & living space in the basement (which is ground level from the back side), and also have the option to sit in the shared spaces upstairs. There are 2 other airbnb rooms upstairs and everyone gives you space when you need it but are also there to talk when you want to. I thought it was the perfect combination for people living/working alone but want some liveliness at home. I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever need a long term stay in this area.

Claudia is an excellent host. She is very friendly and easy to talk with, but she is willing to give you as much space as you want. The house is clean and is only a 10 minute walk to the closest bus stop to the train station. I would recommend staying here.

This is a CLEAN, QUIET, and CALM home; perfect for my needs! This space actually works out to be the equivalent of a full SUITE: In addition to the private bedroom with private bath, one also has the use of a kitchen and a huge dining/living/office room. While the latter areas are technically shared, my hosts and the two other guest areas are all on other floors, so I essentially had the entire floor to myself. The arrangement also provides great sound insulation, as I never heard the others in the house, or any outside noise, for that matter. My hosts are a great couple, very careful and focused about their AirBnB role; excellent communication, both through the site and in person. If I ever need to come back to Elmsford, I'll be sure to return, and recommend that you do, as well.

My dad and myself stayed at Claudia and George's house for one night while traveling from the city for an interview. They were great hosts and provided a clean, comfortable room.
