This unit was beautiful, and perfect for my extended family stay. Delightful Adirondack-themed decor. (I'd say the place was *nicer* than its pictures.) Everything is clean and up-to-date. Very well appointed kitchen. Great screened-in porch. Two main living areas (living room, and downstairs rec room) gave the family space to spread out. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

Great place to stay with a group, the pictures don’t do it justice. Bigger than appears. The layout Is such that even with four couples you feel like you can have privacy. It has everything you Might need in the kitchen and the size is great! With the fire place and screen Porch it is both Comfortable and cozy. We had a bit of every kind of weather when we were there from a Blizzard to sun and 60’s and the place was perfect. Easy to get to downtown which is incredible. We loved our stay here and would stay again in a heartbeat! Host was so Kind and accommodating which Made it all the better.

Gilles place was worth every dollar. I feel the pictures showed everything and when we arrived, I feel it was even better than the pictures. this was a great place, only wish we could have stayed longer. When I come back to Lake placid, I will look and hope for this place to be available. if I could give it more than max stars, I would!

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was well appointed, very clean, comfortable and felt like home. I would recommend to anyone. The Gilles' have a beautiful place. I just wished they could have made it snow!

This is a great find . The place is beautiful and clean with plenty of space for 6-8 people. Gilles was a wonderful host as well.
