Beautiful farm and excellent communication with William/Michael. Hiking possibilities starting at the cottage (smaller tours and a longer one). Animals to observe already from the pool area. Swellendam and shopping options are 10-15min away.

We had a fantastic stay in Cottage 5 in mid-June, it was lovely and cosy for family of 3. The fire place kept us warm and there was so much to do on the farm to keep a little one busy, short hikes, jungle gym, safe place to ride up and down on a bicycle. We had a lovely game trip around the farm by Michael, the farm manager. Great friendly host by Michael, always keen to chat and share story's about the farm animals. We did a short trip into Swellendam dam, which was very memorable as well. We will definitely be back with more friends and family.

absolutely loved it. tranquility abounds. a real hidden gem. awesome hosts and staff. great accommodation, awesome pool, the setting speaks for itself. highly recommended.

My wife, 6 year old daughter and I we fortunate enough to enjoy William and Michael's hospitality for a few days. We could not find fault with anything at Fonteinskloof. We stayed in Cottage 2 and it was extremely comfortable and spacious. The pool and games room was a big attraction for us with a well-stocked honesty bar available. Meeting and chatting to William and Michael for the first time was like reconnecting with long time friends. I would definitely recommend doing the game drive - it is really a beautiful and special place. Also if there is an opportunity to experience William's braai - you'll get treated like royalty........but bring a healthy appetite along. Thank you WIlliam for sharing your space and thank you Michael for sharing your stories.
