We absolutely loved staying at Cathy and David's house. It is a beautiful home, spotlessly clean and in a wonderful location by the Creek. David was a wonderful host, as Cathy was away, and made us feel so at home. I could have stayed forever!! Nothing was too much trouble, and the location was perfect for a peaceful stop on our drive south. Thank you so much 🙂
Cathy and David were really nice, the cat there was cute, beautiful scenery, very welcoming, great help with tourist destinations and general information about getting around. David went out of his way to give us a lift into Byron to pick up our car hire. It was quiet and peaceful. The bed was clean and comfy, the bathroom was divine. We didn’t get the opportunity to use the kayaks on the water, but hopefully next time we come back we will.
Honestly, this place is magic! The wooden deck looking over the water is amazing to watch birds, fish, have a sunset drink, do yoga, or work. Cathy and David created a beautiful home with heaps of love for detail - we would have loved to stay longer. They are both wonderful human beings, friendly, intelligent, and great to chat with. We felt immediately at home.
Cathy’s place is so serene and the bathroom is gorgeous!! The deck area is so peaceful! Bonus how friendly Cathy is. Would love to stay again when in the area.

Cathy and David are your hosts. We are both passionate travellers and have used AirBNB for many years. We understand what we appreciate as travellers and therefore aim to provide a great experience in a comfortable home for our guests. We are very happy to share our experiences and to hear about your travels and adventures if you wish to share. A little bit about us, Cathy works as a midwife in the hospitals in the local area and has also worked in other countries around the world as a midwife. David has been self-employed for about 30 years in the construction industry. Between the two of us we have a passion for travel and embrace new and exciting adventures which also includes meeting new people in our home. Both of us are very interested in the local area and will be able to provide many tips for travellers of the best restaurants to go to, natural places to visit, the best music that is on at the time, the local markets and also the particular features of this beautiful area of New South Wales.
