What incredible hosts Joanne and Brian are! The flat on the side of their main house is really lovely, and it flows right out to the backyard and pool, which was delightful. The refrigerator was well-stocked with breakfast foods, and they were happy to coordinate trips to the local grocery as well. Joanne and Brian were particularly generous in their willingness to pick us up when we stepped off the bus or drop us at our dive outfitter, even pretty early in the morning. Fantastic hosts in a fantastic location!

I’ve stayed at 50+ airbnbs and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had and, unfortunately, my first 1 star review. At 9am on our first morning, Joanne’s husband knocked on our door to sort out our wifi issues and started yelling and swearing at my girlfriend for wearing a sweater, assuming the air conditioning was on - which it wasn’t. Upon arrival, you’re told to only have the air conditioning on while you sleep, despite there being no mention of this in the listing. Keep in mind it’s +40C during the day. From the start, Joanne’s husband made us feel uncomfortable with his negative and condescending opinion of Fiji. We were suppose to stay 4 nights, but left immediately after his outburst. We also had no service at their home and the wifi continuously cut in and out (average speed was around 3 to 5mbps.)

We very much enjoyed our 31 day stay with Joanne & Brian. They are very accommodating and gracious hosts who made sure our needs were met including taking us places. - Brian is a great tour guide and golfer - LOL. Joanne even included Cynthia in her painting class which she is very greatful for. We had a lot of fun with them. The flat was clean, spacious and well maintained. The pool was very refreshing, which was greatly needed for those hot days. Definitely a great choice for our stay! Oh yes, cannot forget Cassie she was an awesome surrogate pet. Thanks again to Joanne & Brian - we met as strangers and left as friends!

Joanne place had to been the best place we have stayed in Fiji. The communication leading up to the stay was great. Arriving there yard & house is very clean and tidy. They are very kind and outgoing and love a good chat. The place was exceptionally clean. Very comfortable stay, we were treated like family, if we come back to Fiji we will defs make a visit & stay with Joanne again, she is lovely, highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the unit. The unit is spacious and as described. The hosts were wonderful and quite helpful with local recommendations. The AC is only allowed at night, but we were out most of the day so it was ok. Great quiet location.
