Great stay, lovely place to spend one's vacation. Only complaint is that the toilet could have been cleaner. And beware of bugs such as mosquitos and cock roaches.

This was my second time staying in one of Alkistis’s apartments. Everything about it felt like home. In the one odd day there was a rainstorm, staying inside all day was just as lovely as going out and doing an activity. Not only do you have everything you need in there, but it’s so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Being a beachfront apartment, you can hear the waves 24 hours a day. I had some of the best sleeps I’ve ever had thanks to those sounds. The view of the sun rising is incredible. It’s for these reasons and many more that I know I’ll be back as soon as I can.

Alkistis was a fantastic host, the room was in great shape, exactly as shown in the photos. One minor thing, if the wind was blowing in the wrong direction there was some smell from the taverna next door, but only when sitting on the balcony. Lovely quiet place, pleasant swim, easy access from and to Agios Kyrikos. Would definitely stay again!

While planning my trip, Alkistis was very responsive through Airbnb messaging, always replying within the day with kind and helpful answers to my questions. When my plans changed a bit, Alkistis was very flexible and accommodating to my needs. She arranged for me a car that was waiting for me at the airport upon my arrival. She was there to greet me at the apartment in Therma, which was sparkling clean. The apartment was beautiful and roomy, equipped with anything you need to cook or make coffee. It had a washing machine too which was an added bonus I didn’t expect. The balcony is perfect and it was so nice sitting out there in the morning and at night. Sleeping was amazing, with the windows open and letting in a nice breeze and with the sound of ocean waves to lull you into sleep. The only thing was that the WiFi was a bit iffy and only worked in certain spots, which didn’t matter until you need to book your next stay, or research what to do the next day, etc. it worked better down in the square or on the beach. Therma is a great location and I didn’t even end up straying too far from this village, for it had anything you could need with a convenient mini mart, a few restaurants and bar and cafes and bakeries, and of course the mineral hot springs. There’s a few in this village and around, easy to get to and so relaxing. If I find myself in this sleepy little island of Ikaria again one day, I will no doubt try to stay here at Alkistis apartments again
