Had a great stay! Perfect space for my family. Kids loved looking for salamanders in the woods, and it was a short walk down to the lake(s) and convenience store. Hosts were very nice and helpful, and made a heck of a blueberry cream pie! Highly recommend.

The Airbnb is in a great location. Walking distance to Lake Michigan and Stoney lake. Back yard is peaceful and lots of firewood to make camp fires! Also 15 min drive to sand dunes & local restaurants!! BIG shout out to Steve and Sandy the cleaning staff! We arrived 30 min after check in time and we’re notified the host forgot we were checking in but the cleaning crew proactively got the cabin clean quickly , super apologetic, and even brought us a pie!!

The location is great. Walkable to both Stony Lake and Lake Michigan. There is a small general store and also a restaurant very near by that was great. The house is private and has a nice backyard with a fire pit. Everything was clean and the house had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Kurt!

We had a great week in Shelby! Cabin is quaint and property is private and spacious! Lots of beach things for use in the garage which was a plus...only thing was it was not very organized but we managed and are very grateful things were available for our use! The cabin was perfect for 4 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs! A short 15 min walk to Lake Michigan and only 8 miles to Silver Lake Sand Dunes. We spent 2 days off-roading at the dunes. The turn-around driveway at the cabin was large enough for 2 trucks, a trailer, and 4 seater side by side! Firepit was massive and even had a grate over part to cook...made perfect JiffyPop! Of note - LOTS of sand...unavoidable for it to be tracked in to cabin but the cabin was well designed for this and easily swept to keep the mess at bay. We absolutely did NOT want to come home! would definitely stay at Kurt's place again!
