I am very lucky to find this accommodation. It is a very special experience to be able to see the wonderful aurora up close, regardless of time. Also, the caring of a very thoughtful host has made the trip richer. Don't doubt the host's plans. He always does his best to help you.

Séjour mémorable chez Stephen qui nous met à l'aise et qui transmet immédiatement sa passion pour Yellowknife, ses environs, sa houseboat, "sa" Aurora, le tout grâce à son énergie et sa volonté permanentes d'optimiser les 3 jours passés. Que d'émotions! Une expérience unique. Merci Stephen et longue vie à toi.

I will definitely recommend and always choose to stay at Stephan’s place in Yellowknife. Don’t hesitate to choose VIP service. With the VIP experience you don’t have to worry about the transportation, aurora or any schedule. The only thing you need to do is to book on airbnb, come and enjoy! Your best friend Stephan will arrange the rest of your stay and make you feel everything is worth. We had a private stay here, had homemade steak and pasta here, which are way much better than any restaurants I visited. And still craving for it now. It’s a “wonderful vacation heaven” that I will miss always. Thank you Stephan, we really had an excellent and unforgettable stay with your VIP accompany.

Séjour idyllique à Vee Lake. Stephan m'a accueillie amicalement et m'a fait sentir rapidement à la maison. J'ai vu des aurores boréales presque tous les soirs, malgré un indice kp faible. Il ne faut pas nécessairement suivre les applications et poser un regard dehors régulièrement (20h et 23h30 ont surtout été mes heures de chance). La nuit avec une prédiction faible a pourtant été incroyable, des aurores de couleurs vert-rose et dansantes !! Emplacement idéal pour bien voir les aurores, on peut même les observer et les photographier de la fenêtre de chambre. Vee Lake est magique !! Le ciel est toujours dégagé alors qu'il y avait des nuages en ville, on dirait un micro-climat. Stephan s'assure des restrictions alimentaires et prépare de copieux repas. Tu n'auras pas faim. Il propose plusieurs activités au choix avec le forfait VIP. Tu auras ton guide personnel. Bon équilibre entre le temps personnel et socialiser. Excellent 👌

We had a great time staying with Stephan and Allyce in their houseboat. Their location was an experience within itself as the only home located in the middle of a frozen lake and surrounded by miles of snowmobiling/walking trails. The house was rustic but accurately described and comfortable. Steph and Allyce went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of, providing local recommendations and even gave toys to our pup. The highlight of the trip was seeing the Aurora right out our bedroom window. Our own private showing without having to take a guided tour. One of the most unique AirBnb's we have stayed at and 10/10 would stay there again!
