Ocean View is the best place we have ever stayed. The cottage is large and well finished. The rooms are well furnished and there is attention to detail (for example, flowers at each window). The kitchen is well equipped, large and bright. We felt at home. It's a cottage that gave relaxation and peace to all of us, including our children. The location is magical. The road from Ardara to the cottage during sunset takes you into the relaxation of the evening. The beach is worth a stop at any time of the day. It's the ideal place to visit the main scenic areas of Donegal. Hugh, Patti and Kevin have always been helpful for any request for information. We followed their advices and they made us discover places we otherwise wouldn't have seen. The written instructions for check in and check out are complete and clear. We can only congratulate Hugh, Patti and Kevin for such a magical place in Donegal. We thank them for their hospitality and for making our trip to Donegal unforgettable.

What can I say….my first time to use AIRBNB and Hugh and his family have set the standard. House is beautiful and pristine. We were made to feel so welcome. Instructions were clear and we just knew if we had any issue (we didn’t) that Hugh was a quick email away. Would highly recommend. We hope to return to this beautiful location soon.

Our stay at Ocean View was wonderful. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and having the wee beach at the end of the road was lovely. The house is very comfortable, spotless and very well equipped. Clear instructions from Hugh on all aspects of the amenities were very helpful. Wi-Fi very reliable. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and yoga in the wee conservatory looking out to the Atlantic. A wonderful base to explore Donegal!

This was probably the best house we ever rented with airbnb. The location is absolutely stunning, the ocean view and even when windy the waves view is smth truly exceptional. Also the host seemed friendly. So we absolutely recommend staying here. The only note is cooking essentials, it wasn’t much but we left some for the next guests at least, so maybe bring your own on the way to the place. But at the same time the kitchen had a lot of equipment and “practical” essentials just basically for any your need, that was very nice surprise. Also the host sent detailed instructions for anything you might need or want to know, so it felt confident and nice to know what is waiting for you beforehand (just make sure you always have enough 2 euro coins close by for the electricity). And the last thing is a fireplace, so needed addition when it’s rainy evenings, makes your stay even more cozy :) Thank you Hugh for your amazing and cozy home, we definitely coming back again :)
