Located in the heart of this small Wisconsin city of Hartford and easy to find, this early 1900s built duplex home is filled with wall to wall charm. You will be staying in the first floor unit of this two family home. We have dubbed the first floor level of this home The Olde City Apartment. Share your positive experience with us on insta @olde_cityapartment. Visit the inside of this old house and you will be enchanted by it's special charisma and personality. From the original stained glass front door, cast iron porcelain "claw foot" bath tub, cast iron "farmhouse" kitchen sink to the original bronze and cast iron door hardware and porcelain door knobs. Enjoy the numerous "old-fashioned" elements in this home adorned with olden style furniture. Sit and relax in the parlor-style living room that we have dubbed "The Bicycle Room" A great conversation starter, the old bicycle overlooks the room and leaves you wondering, what sort of trips and journeys has the old bicycle been on? The seasons are AMAZING in our area, and we are fortunate to be located so close to many hiking trails, along with two ski/snowboard/tubing establishments. Please venture over to our local Ice Age Trails, Pike Lake State Park hiking trails, or County Park trails. We are also PERFECT for work travel! We have had people traveling for work tell us we have been a great fit for their needs while staying in the area for work. #AirBnbForWork. We are also a great stay for famlies! A room for parents and a room for the kids with TWO beds! We are also a great mid-term stay for displaced or relocating families! The inviting master bedroom features a cozy king size bed, a luggage rack and dressers and a closet for your clothing storage. The second bedroom features a queen and single bed, a luggage rack, a large dresser and closet. The living room can also be used for sleeping as it has a queen size sofa bed and a large HD TV. In unit NEW stacked laundry with supplies, full bathroom with toiletries, coffee and tea supplied as well as coffee pot, and full kitchen equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, crockpot, and many cooking utensils; making this a perfect extended stay (just bring groceries!) Patio and backyard located off kitchen, and patio furniture (seasonal) located on patio for your relaxation! Ideal location for extended stay or business travel; WIFI ready with working space and desk in living room. One dog will be welcome at a fee of $30 per stay, which will be prompted during booking. If you have additional dogs, please reach out to me. We are available for extended stay and offer discounts for stays one month or longer (all utilities included). The place was very clean and a very nice place to stay only stayed one night but would stay there again to explore the area.
We loved staying here. We’re here for work out of state and have our 15 month old daughter with us, I asked about a toddler bed or crib/pack n play, although she didn’t currently have one, she went out of her way to make sure there was a bed for my daughter when we got there! Jennifer really went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay, so I kindly returned the favor by cleaning as much as I could before we left. The apartment was about an 6-8 minute walk to all of the downtown Main Street restaurants. Our favorite was perc place. We also LOVED wissota chophouse, the filet was to die for, but it is a pretty penny to dine there. It’s also about a 10 minute walk to a small playground. We drove to see holy hill, which was gorgeous. Overall we had a really great experience here and if by chance we are in the area again, would definitely stay here!
This was our 2nd stay in less than a month (due to a funeral). We enjoy this place, nicely furnished and comfortable. There is a train once or twice a day, but that was not an issue for us. Excellent parking for 1 car off the street. Plenty of room with large Kitchen, Living Room and an additional sitting room (with second TV) for privacy, Plus a front porch. Lots of room to spread out and get privacy if needed. When visiting before - we used local hotel, but this is nicer for us. We were able to have family over for a meal, again with plenty of room. Will stay here again.

Last minute reservation - Jennifer was a great help and communicated immediately when we had questions. I highly recommend. House is older, but very nicely furnished and comfortable beds. Bathroom is beautiful and classically old fashioned. Really a nice place. Will stay again,

A short drive to Holy Hill Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, Wisconsin Pike Lake State Park, Little Switzerland Ski Hill, The Kettle Moraine Forest Ice Age Trail, and Slinger Super Speedway. Close freeway access to get to the EAA AirVenture. Located near many popular scenic motorcycle routes for your Harley Davidson excursions.
