Great little place that was perfect for our event in the area.

What a great little bungalow, and amazing views!! The house was the perfect size for two people and a medium sized dog to lounge and spread out, the kitchen was stocked with all the basic utensils to make some great meals, and the double bunk bed was both charming and actually really really comfortable! We met John when we went down by the water and he invited us out on the boat, and although we didn't take him up on the offer it was greatly appreciated and made us feel at home. Gets a little warm in the main living area, but there's a very nice a/c in the bedroom that kept us cool while sleeping, and in the afternoon with the shade from the trees and the windows open the lake breeze was a delight, even on a 90 degree weekend.

Great place, the hosts are super nice and even invited us out on the boat. Place was a bit hot on the inside when we got there, it was 94 degrees that day. We turned on the fans and the AC unit for a bit and that got it a bit more comfortable. Also, the lake breeze that night really cooled the house down to were we needed blankets.... crazy from so hot to so cool. Please be aware that the place is a bit small, we knew that going in, but for 2 adults and 2 boys aged 6 and 9 it was a perfect fit. Plus the outside space gave it plenty of space for each of us. The place is right on the water and my two boys did swim in the lake .... super easy access to the water. We had great access to some great restaurants and the gas station had a few of the things we needed like milk, eggs, and snacks that we didn't pack. Overall we had a wonderful time at the bungalow and hope to stay again...also they had a few Twisted Twas in the fridge!!! always a very nice gesture.

Definitely not worth the money. No bedroom, open to living room. No dining table with chairs for a family meal. NO bowls to make a salad, pancake mix. Extremely tiny shower. NO kitchen towels or prep area for cooking, No hand towels in bathroom. Windows and screens were filthy as was outside entrance. The property is not maintained, needs a landscape clean-up. No lighting from cabin to lake and back as there are 45 steep steps between cabin and lake. Houses on both side are very close. AC blew a fuse. Took us an hour to find fuse box to turn electricity back on. Empty AC box left in Living room. Frankly, I'd like my money back!!!
