Cozy and quiet bedroom with attached private bath. Perfect little room In a neighborhood of towering trees, narrow streets and 1920's Spanish style bungalows, and blooming plants galore. Walk across our character-enhancing railroad tracks to Old Town where restaurants, bakeries, shops, a parkour gym and a cigar bar abound. My 2 adult kids live upstairs as well as another airbnb rented room. We have a cat in the house, (but not in your room or bathroom), so tolerating them is a necessity. Liking them is even better! 420 friendly in outside areas.

Bedroom was clean. Bed was decent. Bathroom has no fan. House is old and smells old when you walk in. The kitchen and fridge were not clean. At all. Neighborhood is safe. Be aware there is a train track right across the street. Trains don't come often but when they do they are very noisy and shake the whole house. For the price it was ok but could have way more potential if it was cleaner.
Accommodating hosts, good value
Well-located, kitchen is equipped for cooking, very nice and clean room! Such a cute house too. Note - it is a shared house with other airb&b guests, so they may make noise and leave some kitchen mess. A good trade-off for the price though!

Our neighborhood is uniquely quaint for Los Angeles. Narrow streets shaded by giant trees and lined with Spanish style bungalows.
You can walk to La Capilla Mexican Restaurant, drink too many margaritas and walk home. ️
Our street is split in half by the train tracks. I think it's super cool and adds character. It does mean that an occasional freight train may pass in the night. It's a few times a week, not every night.
We have four bus lines within one block. Torrance transit #3, #4, #9 and #10. Buses run every 30 minutes. Careful .... Some buses don't run on Sunday's.
Uber is the transportation of choice in Los Angeles. There is always a car ready to pick you up within 5 minutes of our home.
