The cabin was exactly as described, pretty nice and roomy inside for two of us. Stayed for 8 nights and pretty much enjoyed it. It's a great place for travelers and active people as it feels like it greets you every time when you return from your day long trips. The kitchen has everything needed if you cook or bake. It's a gas range, which is pretty cool. The lake was great for kayaking, there's an island in the middle and the lake is connected to a Cross lake via Snake river. Just set your own goals. As other guests pointed it, some live algae was covering a shore line on some days, but this is a natural appearance so not blaming. There are plenty of trails in a 30 minutes proximity from the place that are by Kettle, Snake and St. Croux rivers. Afterall, this was great place to spend a week this Fall season. Todd’s home was perfect for our trip! It was just like the pictures, nice and clean. Todd was quick to respond with any questions we had. Check-in process was super easy! Definitely staying here again!

Typical Minnesota cabin. The lake and cabin amenities were just as described. The kayaks were an added bonus. We would definitely consider renting again! Todd was great host to work with!
