We had a lovely, albeit wet weekend in the Hills and enjoyed our stay at St. John’s, which with the heaters, remained very cosy. The provisions left were varied and very thoughtful and we appreciated the drinks and chocolates. Proximity to the wineries was excellent. We spent late afternoons and evenings with a jigsaw, reading and card games which were hampered though by the subdued lighting in the main open area - table lamp would help with this. Overall a great weekend.

This converted 1860's church is very romantic. The living space is on three levels and cleverly decorated with little objects and pictures that surprise you around every corner. The kitchen has everything you need, there is an outside sun-room eating and relaxing area, and a shower in the bell tower. The home is located in the Hills surrounded by more Wineries than you can visit in a weekend. Just lovely.

A unique church conversion made this a different but fun place to stay. Plenty of food and drink provisions supplied by the hosts were unexpected but much appreciated; made it easy to settle in and start relaxing. Combustion heater was a hit - perfect for the cooler months. Autumn in the Adelaide Hills is a great destination and this accommodation is well placed as a base to do some exploring.
