Come and share our piece of paradise in the heart of the beautiful Adelaide Hills near Lobethal. Enjoy all the area has to offer or alternatively opt to do nothing except enjoy the peace and tranquility with the breathtaking views of Kenton Valley. A rare opportunity to escape the rat race while still being close enough to take advantage of a myriad of experiences. Share this idyllic place with the local wildlife, kangaroos, kookaburras and blue wrens. A true slice of heaven so close! This is a compact, modern and well appointed space which has everything you need to enjoy a break from reality or a home base for enjoying all that the Hills have to offer.. There are two spacious bedrooms, master with king and second with a queen bed. A new bathroom has a bath with a view, vanity and a separate shower. Under floor heating gives a feeling of warmth and luxury. A well equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher and induction hot plates makes meal preparation easy. A generous living area, extended by a large deck is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the views. Sit mesmorised by the wood fire in the living area when the weather is cold or enjoy a glass of wine around the fire pit outside. We live on the property which means we are available for any support should the need arise. Your privacy however is guaranteed. Clean, convenient and comfortable.

What a warm welcome. Briny & David could not do enough for us. The surroundings were beautiful. The villa was cosy and very homely. The beds were super comfy. All the little details were well thought.
A peaceful hideaway in a beautiful part of the country. We were made to feel welcome and at home, and were well taken care of with offers to provide supplies as needed. Great stay with wonderful hosts ☺️

Briony’s place was fantastic for our stay. The villa is super comfortable with great natural light and a fantastic view of the outdoors. I highly recommend this place to the Airbnb community!
We had a wonderful stay. Briony and David were fabulous hosts, very friendly and communicative. They gave us local recommendations which was super helpful, we enjoyed visiting Woodside, cute cafes and unique shops. They also took us to feed their cows which was fun. The accomodation was lovely, stunning view - so nice to sit on the deck and breathe in the fresh air. The location is peaceful and quiet, but within 10-15 minutes you can visit nearby towns, or a 30 minute drive to Hahndorf. The villa was well thought out, bed was super comfy with beautiful linen. Nice Sheridan towels with a good shower and a bath which allowed you to relax and take in the views. There is a split system which was on when we arrived (much appreciated!) and a fireplace. We travelled with our 10 month old and there was plenty of room in the main bedroom for the portacot. There is a second bedroom, so good for families. This accomodation is newly listed. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Only 50 minutes of scenic driving from the city this area has much to offer!
Local attractions include in excess of twenty wineries, breweries and distilleries, including famous names like Bird in Hand and Applewood Distillery.
The Big Rocking Horse at Gumeracha, Birdwood Motor Museum, Gorge Widlife Park, cafes at Cudlee Creek and other towns are among much on offer in close proximity and provide a range of activities for different age groups and interests.
Great community pubs and hotels including Gumeracha and Charleston offer good food and atmosphere. Food delivery is available from Gumeracha or Lobethal.
Historic Hahndorf and bustling Mount Barker are only a short drive away. You can go cycling along the Amy Gillett bike track or walking along picturesque walking trails!
If you enjoy browsing shops there are antique, clothes and coffee shops in nearby towns.
There are so many opportunities for a wide range of experiences or just enjoy a relaxed break in a beautiful community or in your own space!
Parking is free and readily available but public transport is very limited.
