We had a lovely time staying at your cottage. The garden was a perfect place for a morning cup of coffee. The town of Carmel is delightful. Cottage is just a couple of blocks from shopping and grocery store and about a mile to the beach. The beach is incredible. Not very busy but has lots of dog walkers. So if you love dogs, you will love this beach. I would definitely return to this cottage if it is available the next time we are in the area

The Poets’ Cottage was the perfect place for us! This lovely, spacious house is located in a beautiful neighborhood, walking distance to downtown Carmel. There is also a neighborhood forest park just up the street for morning walks and runs. There are so many wonderful things about this place, including: a kitchen that very well stocked; splendid outdoor seating; driveway parking; a deep bathtub with jets; and a friendly and responsive host. All topped off with a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. We’d love to return!

If I could give our stay more than 5 stars, I would! The cottage is charming, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. It's within easy walking distance of downtown Carmel and the beautiful beach. Tamara went out of her way to make us feel welcome, and we appreciated her great local recommendations. We could not have had a better experience. We will be back!

The Poet's Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. It couldn't be any more charming and is so much more homey than a hotel. The mattresses and pillows are comfortable. There are many nooks -- both inside and out -- for reading, relaxing, or watching TV. The cottage is located just two blocks from Carmel Plaza which has a number of amazing restaurants and wine tasting rooms, yet the cottage feels secluded without being in the middle of nowhere.
