Vietimme viikon perheloman ( 10 henkeä) Talo oli hieno, hyvin varusteltu ja tarpeeksi iso. Lisäksi vauvalle oli tuotu tarvikkeita ja leluja. Piha oli kaunis ja paljon erilaista aktiviteettiä mm. erilaisia pelejä. Etenkin nautimme uima-altaasta! Lähialueella on paljon hyviä retkikohteita niin lapsille kuin aikuisille. Patric ja Odile olivat ystävällisiä ja auttavaisia. Suosittelemme paikkaa lämpimästi!!

Comme groupe de jeunes ayant fini notre bac, moi et mes amis ont séjourné au Clos de Chenac pour une semaine. La maison est vraiment magnifique, exactement comme les photos disponibles sur le site internet. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et la cuisine est très bien équipé. Nous avons adoré la piscine, qui était situé au milieu d'un jardin superbe, et qui avait une température optimale. Il y a aussi plein de parasols pour éviter les coups de soleil trop forts. Les propriétaires nous ont acceuilli chaleureusement et à la rencontre du moindre problème, ils étaient sur place pour nous aider et rassurer. Ils habitent très proche de la maison, mais à aucun moment nous nous avons senti dérangé par ce fait. De plus, ils nous ont laissé une multitude de matériel d'information sur la région, y inclus des villes plus grandes et Talmont, un village pittoresque situé 10 minutes de la maison. Nous avions un agréable séjour et nous espérons de trouver le temps pour visiter le Clos une 2e fois.

We are two families of four with adult children and were delighted to find this lovely villa available at short notice. Patrick and Odile’s house and gardens are beautiful and every bit as fabulous as the photos, with plenty of space for us all. The pool was a highlight, being larger than usual and with a beautiful white stone terrace surround and good quality sunloungers and cushions. The house is elegant, spacious and comfortable with large airy bedrooms. The three bathrooms are well placed to serve the five bedrooms and worked well for us all. The area is interesting with fields of sunflowers and vineyards and not far from the sea. There are no facilities in the village but we had some nice walks. We enjoyed meals out in Meschers port and the at the Auberge in Talmont but were mostly content to stay late around the pool and cook and eat outside on the terrace. We visited Ile d’Oleron and enjoyed canoeing in Saujon. We hope to return next year for a longer stay!
