The heart of the apartment is a spacious kitchen. The 2022 renovations expanded this area significantly, creating a culinary haven equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, extensive counter space, and a cozy ambiance. It's an inviting setting for preparing meals, whether you're a cooking enthusiast or just looking for a casual dining experience with your companions. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large pantry which contains the necessities such as spices, flour, salt, sugar, cooking oils, etc. The apartment features two beautifully renovated bathrooms. Each bathroom has a modern look and feel with some vintage touches. These bathrooms are equipped with soap, shampoo, condition, etc. One of the most convenient features of the renovation is the full laundry setup. This is available for use and detergent/dryer sheets are available. Sleeping arrangements have been carefully planned to ensure comfort for all guests. Great space for our family during UVM graduation weekend! Terrific kitchen and comfy beds. Nice location right on the river, lots of great restaurant options nearby, easy street parking. Tom and Lindsay could not have been more responsive and accommodating.
Great host, pretty place, good location. But, the place could really use a very very deep clean. It seems that if you are going to charge that much money, the splace should not have crud on the window sills, and be just generally undercleaned. The bathrooms and kitchen sink /countertops were all cleaned, just to be clear. I saw that this was a common complaint in the reviews, but ever the optimist I didn'g buy it until I stayed there. I would stay there again, just cuz it is a nice place, but I truly hope that the hosts pay attention to the myriad of concerns in the comment section and get the placed cleaned!
Loved the decor of this place - very industrial and spacious, and the kitchen is well-stocked. Similar to some other reviews, would've been nice if the rooms had curtains. The fridge wasn't working for us so we had to use the mini fridge on the side
Beautiful place! The greatest kitchen EVER in an Airbnb. Like a dream kitchen. Location excellent. Really interesting space - they created a fantastic place out of an old commercial building. High ceilings etc, top of the line appliance, AMAZING projector for TV. Place does need curtains - no window coverings meant early morning wakeups. But otherwise a cool, intersting space with top-of-the-line features.
The location was awesome. Parking was really difficult on Friday night when we arrived. Building itself is unmarked and a little unnerving with neighboring building having a broken window/door. Apartment had no blinds or curtains on any bedroom windows- not a great feeling for a group of women. Kitchen was lovely. Wet linens in washer which we actually needed for pullout couch. Food in the pullout couch which was very disappointing. Window sills had dead bugs, only one mirror/shower and one trashcan for two bathrooms and the shower door was not cleaned. There’s a $200+ cleaning fee with booking so that was disappointing as well. The locks on all the doors were great, could easily spend a weekend and not even leave that little winooski downtown area. I messaged the host about check out procedures, especially since we had more than one trash bag and I never heard back. Since we had wet laundry leftover for us, we ended up finding dumpsters ourselves to throw out trash for next visitors

Downtown Winooski is an adorable historic town, 7 minutes drive from downtown Burlington, and with plenty of its own to offer, boasting of a number of fantastic restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and even a brewery.
The apartment is next to a lovely walking path along the river, which has great views of the historic falls. If you follow the riverside pedestrian path to the East (a short 5 min walk) the path enters the Winooski River Walk trails, which are lovely dirt paths along/into the riverside woods.
Some of our favorite restaurants include:
- Waterworks - Gorgeous ambiance, excellent food and drink!! Sits directly on the waterfalls!
- Mulebar - great cocktails + casual food
- Misery Loves Company - great food, currently only serving take-out
- Sneakers Bistro - (brunch/lunch!!! ). Favorite for local weekend brunches, get reservations or be prepared for a wait!
- Our House Bistro (primarily gourmet Mac&Cheese!)
- Pingala Cafe (great brunch/lunch vegan food and smoothies!)
- Asian Bistro (excellent sushi!)
Coffee shops we love:
-Scout
-Rosies Confectionary (also sells beautiful artisanal CBD chocolates)
Brewery:
- Four Quarters (great vibe, lovely outside patio, has a small selection of food too! )
Late-night bar:
- Monkey House : often has live bands! their Pizza by the slice is excelllenttt.
Downtown Winooski restaurants and bars are easily walkable from our apartment! (In fact, for getting around to restaurants and bars, walking is the preferred means of transit -- you can't get much closer!)
******Our apartment has no private parking, so parking is on the street, and metered from 8am-9pm (it's free from 9pm until 8am, and on Sundays!). There is a parking garage across the rotary (Winooski Parking Garage) if you prefer to park off the street!
*****From December to March all over-night parking MUST be in the garage, since there are winter snow bans prohibiting overnight parking on the street, and you will be ticketed or towed! ;( *********
