Comfortable house, impeccably clean and well equipped. We were there in the winter for skiing at Elk, which is close by and an easy drive. It would be fun place to visit during the summer season.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house has beautiful views of the lake. It was clean and had everything that we needed. Ten minute drive to Elk Mountain. The hosts were pleasant, easy to reach and responsive.

Robert's cabin was the perfect location for our ski trip to Elk! We loved looking out at the ice fisherman on the lake when we weren't skiing. We had plenty of room to relax and warm up (it was quite cold on our trip!) and watch the football games. Robert is a very responsive host, and I enjoyed reading his guide book--the recommendations, along with his sense of humor, were great. I would definitely recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle in winter; the house is in a peaceful and remote location, which, understandably, leads to less plowing. But Robert made sure the house was ready for us despite the weather! We would love to come back again next year.

We had a fantastic stay! Robert was extremely responsive and that’s so important to us! We had some bad wind and unexpected power outages. Robert was accommodating in a tough spot for everyone involved. The place itself was great. The view is incredible to wake up to.

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views. Relaxed atmoshpere. If you need quiet, the open loft bedroom is not the place. But.. it is really neat.( comfy bed..large tv,..fantastic shower..window lake view...large and relaxing...comfy chair) Kitchen is very well stocked. Only thing missing is a blender. Thoroughly enjoyed the deck and grill. The deck was spacious and roomy and had ample seating. The view of the lake was stunning while thoroughly relaxing. We enjoyed our stay excessively. would gladly stay again.
