First of all, Mike’s house is amazing! It’s located in a beautiful place, near the lake and hiking trails. The house is a real museum filled with history and lots of beautiful sculptures and art. Mike put lots of love to make it enjoyable. But nothing beats the host “Captain Mike”. He is such a great person! He loves kids and they can feel it, they loved playing with him and everyday they were looking for him to have more fun as he was showing them so many interesting things around that he built. Not only did he have entertainment for kids, but even for adults, fishing, ski jet, kayaks, the boathouse and much more. Everyone loved staying at his place and it was really sad to leave. Thank you Mike for hosting us, we’ll definitely come back!

Mike is an incredible guy and he makes the stay more than you could imagine. He makes every effort to make you feel at home, and make your time away as memorable as possible. The place is fantastic, we had so much fun! Our kids and the family we went with just absolutely loved it and we will be back. Mike thank you for everything and cant wait to see you again. A very fondly remembered getaway - couldn't have asked for more !!!

We had an amazing experience at Captain Mike's place! He is exceptionally accommodating and makes sure you're having a great time. The place itself is a true wonderland. There are many surprises waiting for you there! And Captain Mike himself is the main highlight! You don't meet come across people like him very often! You might bump into him outside as he goes about taking care of the castle. You'll hear some great stories from him!

I had my birthday here with 7 friends, and I had a crazy amount of fun. You can play music as loud as you want anytime, and the place is so gorgeous that you won’t ever get bored. I come from the city so to see deer 5 ft away from you is insane. I will 100% come back here again.
