We were looking a long time for the perfect place in Sri Lanka and when we found this spot we immediately bought 3 properties in the Sinnapadu area. You will find friendly villagers and local fishermen by the beach. The area has a mix of Catholic, Buddhist and Muslim communities and places of worship. Tourists are still a relatively rare sight around here, so you are truly off the beaten track. There are small shops for essentials close-by and a beer shop too, but for supermarkets, ATM and restaurants you need to travel 15 mins to Madurankuli.

The best way is to get a driver from Colombo airport. We can help you to book a package and personal driver for your entire stay, if you plan to do sight seeing and visit the national park and ancient ruins. There is also free drivers accommodation available.
Otherwise the 2 hours trip from the airport will cost about 45 USD one-way and then you can use a tuk-tuk or bikes to get around locally. There are local drivers, trains and buses available too, our caretaker can advise you.
