We absolutely loved our getaway weekend at this lovely Ferndale home. It was so relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of waves and to sit beside the water in the morning. The home was as described, very clean, and well equipped. It has a fun mixture of modern decor with retro appliances. It is definitely a place I will stay at again on a return Bellingham visit!!

A place to feel at home and relax. Beautiful views. The house was roomy and sweet. It does need a few upgrades to bathrooms but still very wonderful. Beds were great. Loved the sunroom in the early morning for coffee. Great sunsets and fun to see the resident seal every now and then. Thank you for a relaxing place to enjoy my family for a long weekend.

We stayed there during Canada Day long weekend. The place is great. We all love it. The sunroom is good and we stay there before noon. However, in the afternoon it is very hot like the sauna room because it faces west. Bring your firewood if you like camp fire. we love camp fire in summer and have a lot of fun when roast marshmallow. There 3 bedrooms and they are all clean and comfortable. It is good enough for 2 families with kids. The deck and outdoor patio set are kept very well. We hade all breakfast/lunch/dinners outsides during we stay. it is delicious and relax. The sunset is very, very beautiful, and don't miss it. There is no sand beach, and some rocks on the way to the beach. We only played kayak once because the tide was a little heavy and the water was cool. FYI: The lock of the front entrance door is very hard to open or lock. Please have chance to fix that.

Great house with a beautiful view. The kitchen is small but functioned well along with the use of the BBQ. We cooked several great meals over the course of our stay for family and loved that there were many serving platters. We had our two dog with us as well who loved the fenced in front yard as well as the small beach when the tide was out. The trail through the marshy area just a short walk away was perfect for taking them on walks several times a day. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet out of the way place to relax and watch the sunset.
