Reconnect with nature while enjoying the comforts of home in our 13ft diameter canvas bell tent. The tent is situated on our 200 acre, trail-filled property, on a cedar platform overlooking a lake at the end of a long, private driveway. Experience falling asleep to a loon call, kayaking across the lake, or simply relaxing in ultimate tranquility. On a raised deck crafted from locally sourced lumber and nestled along the shore of a crystal-clear lake, our canvas bell tent allows you to experience a closer connection with nature. Wake up to the splash of a beaver tail or a loon call. Paddle out and revel in the beauty of the wilderness or cast a line and see what you reel in. Dive into the lake from the private dock and enjoy camping to the fullest. There are 2 kayaks and a canoe with life jackets, safety kits and paddles provided with the booking. It's an electric site, so you can always have a charged phone, and the cell service is great. There are 2 docks available for your use, accessed by uneven stone steps. One is more of a floating swim dock, and the kayaks and canoe are at the other dock. My stay here was so peaceful! Woke up to the sound of the loons and enjoyed some time relaxing on the dock! Sleeping was cozy and discovering the swing in the forest was a fun surprise on our walk! Everything was just as expected and communication with Linda and Scott was effortless! I appreciate you having me here! Grateful for the experience!
We had the most amazing night at Linda & Scott’s, we spent the day in the canoe and did 2 of the 7 available hikes, and finished the day off with a BBQ dinner by the fire and got to see shooting stars all night, we will most definitely be back. could not recommend more.
Absolutely beautiful stay, will definitely be booking again :) also if you go in the colder months you will be plenty warm with the heaters provided and a good sleeping bag
Beautiful little tent, on a well maintained deck with launch onto the water. A perfect little campsite ready to go, without the downsides to camping. We visited in early November and the weather was a couple of degrees above 0, but dry. There were a couple of electric heaters and a comfortable bed so no issues with the cold at all! Bring a good duvet or sleeping bag. We enjoyed the large fire pit and sitting on the dock. The toilet and shower are basic but more than enough for a nature stay. The shower wasn’t hot but not freezing. I imagine it’s great in all seasons!

The campsite is situated on 200 acres of rugged Canadian shield with trails created to enjoy some highlights. There is a trail map and camp manual on site for your convenience. There is 1 other individual campsite on the property - Crater Basin Campsite (1km away) - which is the only area off limits for our guests while it is in operation (May-Nov). It is not visible from the Limestone Lake Campsite.
Please be aware that the trails are also a shared space, but that the dock, lake and all areas surrounding the tent are for your personal use.

The town of Bancroft is a 10 minute drive away and has all the basic necessities for your trip.
