Great host , larger than pictures show . Perfect for what I wanted . Peaceful but plenty to do around the area

My husband and I recently spent the week in Erika's lovely cottage in the Catskills. The cottage was immaculate, the decor and design were beautiful, and and the surroundings were serene. It was so peaceful listening to the waters of the Espopus Creek flowing as we fell to sleep each evening. I've rented many places through Airbnb and this was without doubt the best house I've ever stayed in. Erika was incredibly helpful and responsive, checking in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. The neighbors at Perch Cottages were all warm and friendly. The location was superb with easy access to towns and attractions in both the Catskills and Hudson Valley. I can't wait to head back to Erika's wonderful cottage in the Catskills sometime this winter!!

Erika’s place was absolutely stunning. It’s so much better than the pictures portray, and i couldn’t recommend it more. we loved every detail that was put into creating the space, and can’t wait to stay here again. Erika is also super accommodating and quick to respond, easily one of the best hosts i’ve encountered in all of my stays.

Cottage #5 is charming, cozy but spacious cabin. It has all the creature comforts you could need with extra linens, towels, etc. The entire cabin is pristine including the kitchen and bathroom. The shower is luxurious with plenty of hot water. You are able to enjoy the outdoors but have a comfortable place to come home to. The beds were very comfortable and so well designed. They look just like the pictures. If you are here for hiking, there’s plenty around within just a couple of miles. You can also enjoy stargazing at night. The only negative is that route 28 is right in front of the cabin so you do hear cars especially in the early morning. For light sleepers, I recommend earplugs. I also would suggest a dresser in the bedrooms as there is nowhere to store personal items. Other than that it was a perfect stay and we would love to come back.
