Here for a weekend getaway for my Dad’s 60th :) Very cozy atmosphere, loved the modern decor, and such fun games! Everything was so clean and welcoming. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, throwing darts, playing dominos, and watching movies. Spent the day in Clayton and loved the shops and local waterfall. Only thing to really say is that we wished the hot tub was warmed up upon arrival. Otherwise, will be planning for another stay hopefully in the summer with a larger group!

We had a very nice stay at this wonderful home by the lake. It was decorated in a modern lake house vibe. Extremely comfortable couches and beds. Very well stocked kitchen. Great for our group of teen girls and moms. Girls had the space in the terrace level to themselves and moms could hang out upstairs in peace! The hot tub area was also perfect. Even though it rained the entire weekend we were able to at least utilize the cute outdoor patio since covered. There is a steep walk down the drive to the outdoor space-so not good for those with any orthopedic issues. Follow the directions from previous posters on taking the second driveway bc it is more manageable and less steep. Would definitely come back!

We loved our stay! The house was gorgeous and so well-suited to our group. The kitchen was well stocked for what we needed, plenty of bathrooms, we all slept great in the beds! The hot tub is across the street on the lake - the street to the house is steep but I don’t have 4WD and made it fine. I do suggest keeping straight when you see 474 (you can turn there but it’s very steep). If you go another hundred or so feet until you see Folsom road and make a right there you can follow that up to the house - stay to the right when the road forks and then keep straight to the house - it drives right to it. It’s a bit less of a super steep incline and we preferred that for going back and forth to the dock area. We loaded car and would drive down and park. It worked awesome! We will be back. Highly suggest hemlock falls hike 15min away!

The house was great! The hot tube area was very popular with the kids. Very quiet but close enough to Clayton and Helen. I could see us staying here again. There were just a few issues. The driveway was extremely steep. We have a minivan and it bottomed out on the way up. There was another way in and out which was more manageable but still steep. Would be very difficult in rainy/snowy conditions. Another issue, while small, was the arcade game in the basement. It didn’t work, even when we put a quarter in. Which was another problem. Lame to have an arcade you have to pay to play after you’ve already spent quite a bit on the home.
