Open plan living and dining on the middle level; Multiple glass doors ensure our guests enjoy relaxed indoor-outdoor living between the kitchen, lounge, barbeque deck, and formal dining. A well-equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, oven, large cook top, 2 x fridge/freezers and family sized pantry. A Breville Essenza Mini Pod Coffee Machine (BEC250SIL) is also available for guest use, however guests will need to provide their own pods. This machine uses Nespresso compatible capsules/pods - original size. Our guests can use all resort facilities during their stay, including cafes, restaurants, heated pools, playground, shop, resort activities and tours (excluding dolphin feeding). Whale watching, tobogganing, helicopter and quad bike tours are just a few of the popular activities that are available through the resort. Getting to Tangalooma With a 4WD – It takes 90 minutes on the MICAT car barge departing from the Port of Brisbane and landing near the iconic Tangalooma Wrecks. Reaching the house takes another 20 minutes via a sand road. No 4WD transport- No Worries! Guests can use the Tangalooma Island Resort transport ferries that leave Brisbane from 220 Holt St, Pinkenba. We recommend you also book a minibus to take both you and your luggage from the Tangalooma Jetty to the house. Getting to the Resort; from the house the Resort is actually only 150 metres away. The direct staircase there down the road from the house is very steep, however a gentler 10-minute walk on the sealed road also leads to the resort.
