Union House is our family home, as we split our time between two cities. We love the open concept and the kitchen bar where large and little ones can tuck up for a snack or a chat. The living room is like one big pillow (with TV attached). There's a cupboard full of games, art supplies, and books for all ages. At Union House, we have tried to make it most everything you would need to have a proper staycation. Cozy, bright, and beautiful is why we love it; we think you will too :) Union House boasts a luxurious Endy King size bed in the master bedroom and an Endy Queen in the 2nd bedroom. There are 3 spacious bedrooms upstairs, bathrooms on both levels, and an open concept main floor. Guests will find ample room to relax in whatever form best fits their trip. Cook and chat over wine at the kitchen bar while others play games at the dining table, or watch a movie in the large living room with a 55 inch flatscreen and leather sectional and scoop chairs. In the summer and shoulder months, sit in the lovely screened-in sunporch and watch the cedar trees shimmy in the wind. Cook on the charcoal BBQ, sway in the outdoor hammock and listen for the river rapids to gurgle up through the trees. As my father is mobility challenged, we have installed super secure handrails on both sides of the main staircase. We also have a shower chair available for no charge, should one need it. If there are more accessibility concerns, the living room can be turned into a bedroom by night, with both french doors able to close. We can provide a high quality Sealy blow up Queen mattress and all the fixings.
