I can’t say enough about this beautiful home! My daughter and I were looking for a relaxing weekend in the beautiful Catskills and the Black Rock A-Frame was exactly what we needed. Grey was a proactive host who was always available to answer any questions. The house itself was as beautiful as all of the photos showed and had many personal touches that made us feel right at home. Great kitchen!! We are already planning another stay in the future.
Immaculate and very elegant/tastefully designed & decorated. Warm, cozy and certainly a home away from home; (only) 15 minutes away from Mohonk Mountain House. Enjoyed the very private home-base to hit the hiking trails and scenery. Great hot-tub beneath the stars. Heated mats on the deck & robes/slippers for all (like a spa). Have to mention martini and champagne glasses in the freezer for us before arrival... The kids loved the drums and guitar. Well stocked pantry. Great appliances. The house quite the perfect way to wind down after a long day hiking. Think about "Yangs" for take-out. Morning(s) we enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace (both indoor and outdoor. Jazz or Dave Matthews on the Sonos system. Comfortable bedding and the sleep number beds a plus! Heated towel racks in the bathroom, well stocked firewood, and QR codes to help expedite check in and wifi. Load the house APP! A very, very well rental. Credit to Grey for continuous and repeated texts for everything!
Our new go-to rental in the Hudson Valley. Such a unique property. So much thought and care has gone into every detail of this property. The house gets fantastic light, with east and west exposures. The bathroom is lovely (the heated towel rack was such a nice luxury), and the fire inside and outside was such a treat. Book this place now!
Grey and Aaron were fantastic hosts and the house was amazing….. even better than the pictures. Will definitely be returning for another relaxing stay.
This place is amazing. A perfect getaway, secluded but close enough to find public attractions. I loved it there. The architecture is amazing.
