This was our 2nd stay at Alex’s home and we enjoyed it even more this time round around. The house is beautiful, clean, and unique, perfectly set up for our family with the separate guest house. The pool is fabulous and the outdoor dining and lounging areas are ideal. We love the location, the privacy, the beautiful setting - Everything makes for a pretty perfect getaway from real life! Alex is a wonderful host, super responsive and proactive. We’re already looking forward to another stay!

The house is lovely - the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. The main house living room is a bit tight for more than a couple (only one sofa), but it was the two of us staying this time, so we were fine. We slept in the guest cabin, which is roomy and has a big beautiful bathroom and a living room where we watched movies. The owners might install some sort of terrace area around the pool with better furniture, so one could lie out there and relax. Right now it's grass around the pool, which can get muddy and there was only one umbrella. The property gets a lot of sun, especially in the morning, so another umbrella would have been nice (and some comfier chairs!) But the pool was great and I swam laps every day. The garden is glorious, complete with towering oaks, wild turkeys and some bunny rabbits. We had issues with bears knocking over the garbage cans (but the owner said that happens, so no big deal.) They might screen the breezeway, too - a bit buggy to eat out in the evening.

Alex and Flo are great communicators and clearly very artistic curators :)! This Airbnb is beautifully decorated, clean, well-stocked and best of all, immersed in the middle of nature. We enjoyed our time in the pool with views of the woods and blue sky. We got glimpses of hummingbirds drinking nectar from the flowers, herds of deer foraging for food and beautiful butterflies fluttering around. My rescue dog and I explored the property grounds and ran into some wild blackberry bushes and very interesting looking mushrooms! My partner and I played bocce ball and lounged around the house reading books and cooking. This was a wonderful place to spend our weekend :) thank you, Alex and Florian!

We spent a week at Alex's place and had a lovely time. The property is in a beautiful area and very private. The pool was a perfect place to relax and cool off during the very hot and humid July afternoons. We enjoyed unwinding at the end of the night watching movies with the projector in the attached guest house. The house is very cozy and airy, with a beautiful floor to ceiling window in the kitchen which made meal prep an extra fun and cheerful experience. We took a portable canopy to create some shade in the pool area, which I would recommend if you have access to one and have any sun-sensitive travelers. One point I would echo that another reviewer called out, is that our dog picked up several ticks over the course of our stay, so I would also recommend keeping an eye out for critters. But don't let that deter you, it was a beautiful getaway in the always-gorgeous Catskills.

This home is absolutely lovely and a true getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The main home looks out to a beautiful treeline and is extremely peaceful. My kids loved exploring the yard, visiting the beehives, watching the bees work on the lavender, and of course the pool is amazing! The main home is outfitted with everything you need for easy living: plenty of cookware, fans, cozy blankets, and plenty of firewood and stoves (although we didn't use). The guest home is also lovely, and we enjoyed using the projector when we needed some downtime and enjoying the very nice AC! Alex is an excellent communicator, and when we had any issues or concerns they were addressed and resolved. We highly recommend staying here!
