The property was fantastic full of character and charm. It was unique in that it consisted of 2 converted oast houses which meant it was very roomy. The kitchen was lovely and overlooked both a courtyard and vineyard. The lounge area included a very comfortable sofa with a large-screen TV (which included streaming services like Netflix etc). Upstairs was accessed via a lovely spiral staircase and included a bathroom, bedroom and walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom included a large 2-person bath/jacuzzi and was very luxurious. Head-high windows looked out over the rolling hills and vineyards. The property is set on a vineyard next door to the owner's home. We were able to walk around the vineyard, and out into the countryside to local towns/amenities. Walking via fields (some containing sheep/cows) to local towns was a highlight. Towns included cafes and pubs.

We had a lovely couple days at the Oast House. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and the house was even more beautiful in person. A really lovely, relaxing stay.

Tranquil and beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. The Oast House was idyllic. Numerous walks in rolling countryside on the doorstep. Multiple pubs within walking distance. Informative welcome pack helped enhance our visit.

A quirky yet comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights R&R. Quiet with views of the South Downs from every window. Underfloor heating was appreciated as it was cold and windy weather although this is not throughout the property and we found the kitchen and bedroom a little chilly as the set thermostat central heating struggled to warm the entire property, this would be helped if there was a radiator and/or underfloor heating in the kitchen. We went for a walk down to the village of Selbourne. The information in the welcome brochure map says it's 30 mins away, however we think this may be 30 mins from the edge of their estate as it definitely took us over an hour to walk there and an hour back! Finally, it's not necessarily clear from the description that the property is directly linked to the main house of the hosts and therefore when they were holding a meeting/class in the room next door, we could hear everything which kind of spoiled the relaxing atmosphere of our break away.
